Job Title: Line Cook (Part-time)

Pay Rate: $15.00/Hr.

Location: 503 E. Broadway St. Griffin, GA 30223

Business Hours: Closed Sun – Tues; Open Wed – Sat 11am – 7pm

Line Cook to join the team. The Line Cook will have thorough knowledge of Salaam Seafood menu, work as a team member with outstanding customer service and takes pride of in all aspects of their work.

Crew Member Runner role includes but not limited to:          

  • Preparing meals following the recipe to produce consistent results

  • Knowing and complying consistently with standard cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen practices

  • Cooking a variety of seafood, poultry and other food items using fryers and a variety of other kitchen equipment

  • Portion all the products, follow procedures, and always make sure the meal presentation looks great

  • Maintains safe, secure, and healthy environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations; securing revenues

  • Ability read food ticket orders

  • Professional and polished appearance and demeanor

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three years working in a fast-paced and high-pressure restaurant environment[1].

  • Comfortable with working in small spaces.

  • Able to lift a maximum of 45lbs

  • High school education or equivalent

  • Must have reliable transportation

  • Food service experience required

  • Ability to stand long periods of time (8-10 hours)

  • Team player with the ability to work nights and weekends
